Quality Risk Management provides a systematic process to manage risks throughout the life cycle of a product. The identification, assessment, control, communication and review are all essential elements to a QRM process. 

This Quality Risk Matrix template offers a simple and clear way of documenting risk analysis for equipment or processes. The format provides a qualitative method of identifying potential failures, their impact and estimating the risk level.

A risk matrix approach is particularly useful in the development stages of a project or process. This can then be followed up with a quantitative approach thereafter.
